Terms of Service
Last updated: August 20, 2026
Welcome to OnTopRank - a community where app developers help each other grow by testing and reviewing each other's apps. These terms keep the community fair for everyone. They're written in plain language, because you should actually be able to read them.
1. The deal, in one paragraph
You test other developers' apps and earn credits; other developers spend those credits to have their apps tested. Credits are the community's thank-you note - they have no cash value, can't be bought or sold outside the platform, and simply move between members as work gets done.
2. Your account is yours - and so is your activity
Everything done from your account - the apps you list, the reviews you write, the screenshots you submit, the messages you send - is yours, and you're the one responsible for it. Keep your account to yourself, keep your activity honest, and you'll never hear from us about any of this.
3. Honest reviews, always
Reviews on OnTopRank must reflect your genuine, first-hand experience with an app you actually installed and used. Say what you liked, say what didn't work - a fair, specific review helps a developer far more than empty praise. Copy-pasted, fabricated, or deliberately misleading content isn't welcome here and gets removed.
4. The app stores make their own rules
When you post a review on the App Store or Google Play, you're acting under their terms as well as ours. It's your responsibility to know and follow the policies of any store you publish to - both as a reviewer and as a developer listing an app. OnTopRank provides the community and the tools; how you use them on third-party platforms is your call and your responsibility.
5. Your apps
List apps you actually own or represent, and make sure they're safe and legal for other members to install and use. You keep every right to your own app; listing it here just lets the community find it.
6. Playing fair
The community works because people play it straight. Multiple accounts used to farm credits, fake proof screenshots, automated activity, or pressuring other members all break the deal for everyone - and are the few things that can cost an account its place in the community. When two members disagree about an activity, our in-app dispute process settles it: talk first, and our team steps in only if you can't work it out together.
7. Your content
You own what you create. By posting on OnTopRank you give us the licence we need to display and share it within the product - nothing more.
8. What we can't promise
OnTopRank is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, specific results for your app, or the behaviour of other members and third-party platforms. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
As the product grows these terms may evolve. If something material changes, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
10. Talk to us
Questions, concerns, or something these terms don't cover? We're at hello@ontoprank.com - a human reads every message.
