A Simpler, Fairer Credit System
OnTopRank's new credit system explained in two minutes: one activity = 30 stars, your first app is free, listings never expire, and how every existing account was migrated.
We just launched a new credit system. It replaces all the old prices and rules with one simple cycle, and every existing account was migrated automatically. Here is everything you need to know in two minutes.
One simple cycle
The whole platform now runs on a single loop: help a developer and you earn stars; when a developer helps you, you spend them.
What is an activity?
An activity is the full package: install an app, then post a review. The install reserves +10 stars for you, and the moment your review is approved the whole reward lands in your balance. The stars come directly from that app's developer, exactly like testers of your app are paid by you.
The new rules at a glance
- Your first app is free and comes with 30 starter stars. Each additional app costs 30 stars.
- Keep 30 stars, stay active. While your balance is 30 or more, ALL your apps are visible and receiving activities - one balance covers every app you own.
- No more expiry. Listings never expire anymore, and there is no relisting fee. Ever.
- Boost still moves your app to the top for 30 stars, and it stays there until a newer app or a newer boost passes it.
- Featured is now free. For 24 hours testers earn 40 stars on your app instead of 30 (and each activity costs you 40) - the richer reward pulls testers in.
- Fair limits. Each developer can complete 5 activities per 24 hours.
What happens below 30 stars
If your balance drops below 30, your apps pause automatically. Nothing is deleted and nothing is rejected - complete one activity, earn 30 stars, and every app comes back instantly.
How your balance was migrated
Nobody started from zero. We recalculated every account from its real history:
- Every completed activity you ever did = +30 stars
- Minus your past spending on extra apps (counted at the NEW price of 30, not the old 60), boosts, and featured
- Every developer with an app received at least 30 stars, so no app was paused by the migration
You can see your exact calculation in Profile → Credit History - look for the “Economy migration” entry.
What you should do now
Nothing! Your apps are live and the system runs by itself. Just remember the one rule: give an activity, get 30 - receive an activity, pay 30. Questions? Message us any time from the Support page in the app.
